Job Title: Production Systems Lead

Job Summary:

Data#3 Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Production Systems Lead to join our Managed Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and systems that support the operational activities of our new mining customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the technology infrastructure to meet operational needs.
  • Manage and optimize key mining and coal handling applications such as Caterpillar Minestar, OSI PI, Ampla, Komatsu Modular, CITECT, and others.
  • Collect, analyze, and utilize data from IT and OT systems to monitor performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure seamless integration and interoperability between these applications and other systems.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify potential upgrades to systems in order to leverage new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain compliance and security integrity.
  • Effectively collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
  • Generate reports and insights for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide technical expertise and coordination of multiple vendors in incident support and cross-functional projects.

About You:

The successful candidate will have proven experience leading technology operations, preferably within the mining or heavy industrial sector. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing IT and OT systems, with specific experience in applications such as Caterpillar Minestar, OSI PI, Ampla, CITECT, and Komatsu Modular.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity practices and protocols for both IT and OT environments.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in the mining industry.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Engineering background is preferable but not essential.
  • PMP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or equivalent would be a plus.
