Heavy Mobile Plant Technician

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced mobile plant technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repairs of heavy equipment.
As a mobile plant technician, you will work closely with our tradespersons to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired in a safe and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy mobile plant technology, with experience in maintenance servicing and repair of heavy equipment.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Performing daily and weekly inspections of mobile mining earthmoving and ancillary plant equipment.
- Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and other minor repairs.
- Maintaining accurate records of machine hours and lubricant usage.
- Supporting our tradespersons through the maintenance process.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- Australian recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Technology trade certificate.
- Post-trade experience in heavy mobile plant maintenance and repair.
- Strong computer literacy and good verbal and written communication skills.
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (FL), Dogging (DG), Rigging (RG), Working at Heights (WAH), Confined Spaces (CSE).
- Australian Drivers Licence – Light Rigid OR Medium Rigid.
