The Project

We have been selected by BHP to undertake a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa. The project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our on-site construction team for this project.

This role involves coordinating the design, procurement, and construction of electrical works, ensuring safety, time, cost, and environmental objectives are met.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading engineering and supervision teams to deliver works according to project specifications, schedules, and budgets
  • Forecasting project costs and progress
  • Generating reports for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Building and maintaining productive relationships with stakeholders

To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:

  • Experience in an engineering role on large construction projects
  • Proven competency in technical and production management
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
