Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at CRS Professionals in Birmingham. As a key member of our Building Services Consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and innovative MEP engineering solutions on a wide range of projects across various sectors.
About the RoleAs a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will be working on a varied portfolio of frameworks and projects, predominantly UK-based but with some overseas opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and delivering on small projects up to a few million
- Providing technical support to end users, Landlords, management agents, project managers, and other stakeholders
- Working on projects across all sectors, including Commercial Offices, Retail, Residential, Education, Healthcare, MoD, Defence, Heritage, Industrial, and Technology
- Assisting the regional lead in planning the specialist delivery of the Property Services Group
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified design engineer (chartered status or working towards) with mechanical design experience. You will have experience working on projects in existing buildings (refurbishment and fit-out) and experience undertaking Technical Due Diligence surveying and reporting. You will also have strong technical knowledge in primary engineering discipline and relevant UK and applicable EU regulations, design guides.
