Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist physiotherapy services to patients with cystic fibrosis, including inpatient, outpatient, and community care.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans to improve respiratory function and overall health outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of cystic fibrosis physiotherapy.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure continuity of care and professional development.
- Qualified Physiotherapist with experience in treating patients with cystic fibrosis and acute respiratory conditions.
- HCPC registration.
- Evidence of experience using specialist respiratory equipment, such as invasive and non-invasive ventilators, and cough assist.
- Evidence of experience doing shifts within an acute respiratory on-call out of hours service - including intensive care, both adults and children.
- Experience as a student supervisor.
- Clear desire for wanting to work in CF respiratory at UHS given in your application form.
- Clear knowledge of NHS systems, evident in application form.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Previous experience in NHS in acute care.
