This part-time position is available for 32 hours per week, with a requirement to work Monday-Sunday as rostered. The successful candidate will be based in one of our community teams located in Bairnsdale, Sale, or Wonthaggi.
The role involves working in partnership with clinicians from Alcohol and Drug and Mental Health teams to improve service responses for individuals with complex needs associated with co-occurring mental health and substance use problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care, collaborative care, primary, secondary consultation, and education to mental health teams.
- Work collaboratively with local area managers and overseen by the manager of the specialist and therapeutics program.
Requirements
- Division 1 Registered Nurse with a formal post-graduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, current AHPRA registration, or
- Occupational Therapist or Registered Psychologist, current AHPRA registration, or
- Degree or Diploma in Social Work eligibility or other qualification acceptable for membership to AASW.
- Qualification in Addiction studies (or working towards).
