Job Description
This role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative and compassionate work environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate, recovery-orientated care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Provide medication administration, risk assessment, therapeutic engagement and discharge planning.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the relevant authority.
- Completed a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Medically Endorsed in addition to base qualification.
- A minimum of 2 years nursing experience, including 12 months mental health experience in a clinical setting.
- Demonstrated understanding of working with mental health consumers, including appropriate supports, therapeutic engagement, assessment and evidence-based interventions.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and policies.
