Empowering Young People through Support and Guidance

We are seeking a dedicated support worker/mentor to make a positive impact on the lives of young males aged 10-26 with trauma backgrounds and/or learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to help young people build life skills and gain confidence.
  • Nurture their personal growth through mentorship and a supportive presence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure comprehensive support for young people.

Requirements:

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
  • Own car and valid driver's license
  • Australian working rights or valid visa
  • Certificate IV in Mental Health/Community Services

Job Details:

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $23.59 - $49.13 per hour

Expected Hours: 2 - 20 per week

Benefits: Professional development assistance, travel reimbursement

Schedule: Evening shift, Monday to Friday, shift work, weekend availability

Supplementary Pay: Penalty rates

Qualifications: First Aid Certification (preferred), National Police Certificate (preferred), Working with Children Check (required), Driver Licence (required)

Authorisation: Australia (required)
