Regional Anaesthetist Opportunity

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Specialist Anaesthetists to join our team in a regional hospital setting. Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to provide high-quality patient care in a rural environment.

About the Role:

  • Provide anaesthetic services to patients in a regional hospital setting.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in professional development and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Holds registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist in Anaesthetics, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
  • Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated significant experience relevant to Anaesthesia practice and evidence of competence in skills relevant to Australian rural hospital practice, including trauma and emergency scenarios.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $262,376 to 354,479 per annum, plus allowance.
  • Up to $20,000 sign on allowance (dependent on position and location) and up to $10,000 retention bonus.
  • Salary packaging – up to $9,000 for living expenses; $2,600 meal and entertainment; $9,000 remote area housing and novated leasing.
