Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team at KU Alfred Child Care Centre. As a valued member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a passionate and dedicated team, providing a nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.
ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years
- Developing and implementing engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social well-being
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and families
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current Australian Working with Children Check
- An ACECQA recognised Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates along with current separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
- Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
- Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
- Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
