We are seeking a highly skilled Researcher to join our team in the field of Photonics and Biomedical Imaging. The successful candidate will be part of a vibrant research group focused on developing novel light-based imaging technologies and their application in biological research.

Job Description

The researcher will play a leading role in the development and implementation of classical concepts for imaging, working closely with our multidisciplinary team of experts. The project involves the use of photonics to address real-world challenges in biomedical imaging, with a focus on non-invasive imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced optical imaging techniques, including multiphoton microscopy.
  • Conduct experimental work and numerical studies to advance the field of photonics and biomedical imaging.
  • Liaise with key institutes and collaborate with biologists to ensure the successful translation of imaging technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will need:

  • A PhD in Optics/Photonics/Physics or a related field, with a strong focus on light-sheet and multiphoton microscopy.
  • Experience in advanced optical imaging, classical imaging, and multiphoton imaging.
  • Interdisciplinary experience with projects that overlap across multiple fields.
