Job Overview:
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our e-commerce company's day-to-day activities. With a focus on enhancing performance, building a strong team, and improving customer satisfaction levels, this position is instrumental in driving our company's continued growth.
To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to implement quality control measures, and a keen eye for detail. Your technical proficiency and HR skills will be crucial in managing resources effectively, maintaining a customer-centric focus, and overseeing inventory and warehouse management.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a proven track record of success in retail and e-commerce. The ideal candidate should have a growth mindset, a positive attitude, and humility and openness to collaboration and collective success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Smooth Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure efficient functioning of the company with minimal urgent tasks.
- Quality Control: Implement a system for quality control across key areas to minimize rework.
- Human Resources & Team Management: Source, hire, train, manage, and lead the operations team.
- Customer Experience: Maintain a customer-centric focus, improving customer experience and fixing systems based on feedback.
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Ensure smooth operations at our warehouses, maintain accurate inventory, and optimize order turnaround.
- Process Management & Documentation: Manage processes and information to ensure success.
- Financial, Compliance & Risk: Proactively manage risks, ensure low fraud rates, and maintain compliance.
About You:
- 5+ years experience as an Operations Manager
- Experience in retail is essential, e-commerce is desirable
