As a strategic leader in the field of construction coordination, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of works programs through strong resource planning, outage coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

With visibility across multiple projects, this role provides a unique opportunity to shape how construction and commissioning are delivered. You will be responsible for ensuring resources are deployed effectively, outage strategies are integrated into project schedules, and technical challenges are addressed early to minimize risks to cost, safety, and delivery timelines.

In this role, you will work closely with project teams, commissioning staff, and stakeholders across the business to ensure resources are aligned, outages are planned effectively, and works are delivered safely and efficiently.

  • Lead and motivate a team of construction coordinators with a focus on meeting all stakeholder requirements.
  • Oversee the overall program of construction and commissioning resources, ensuring optimal allocation across projects.
  • Develop and manage outage plans, aligning maintenance and project schedules to minimize risks and delays.
  • Drive compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery, commercial responsiveness, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience managing construction/commissioning resources and outage coordination.
  • Strong understanding of HV/LV environments and compliance requirements.
  • Proven people leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
  • Advanced planning, scheduling, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to work across contractors, delivery partners, and internal teams.
