About MADEC's Labour Hire Division

We are seeking expressions of interest for people to work in our labour hire division providing support to our international workers.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others while developing valuable skills and experience.

You will be the key point of contact for our international workers, providing care and support to ensure they assimilate into their local environment, the workplace, and to build skills required for independent living.

  • Addressing worker enquiries and assisting workers to build skills to resolve their concerns independently;
  • Building trust and strong relationships with workers to ensure any matters of concern are understood and addressed;
  • Assisting workers with access to services required (e.g. medical);
  • Acting as a communication conduit between workers, clients and MADEC;
  • Identifying any risks to worker wellbeing and escalating as required.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Reside in the Gingin area and be familiar with the local area, as you will travel to see workers and host employers throughout the region;
  • Have excellent communication skills and a passion for getting the best out of relationships through a person-centred approach;
  • Have a genuine desire to help others, along with patience and cultural sensitivity to assist in ensuring you build effective connections with our workers;
  • Hold a valid driver's licence so that you can provide on-the-ground support to workers.
