About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Associate to join our Sydney team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a leading law firm, we pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and innovative environment where our employees can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse range of defendant insurance matters, with an emphasis on historical abuse claims.
  • Conduct research and drafting pleadings, submissions, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements, attend conferences, mediations, court, and manage court processes.
  • Advising and communicating directly with clients.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior lawyers and support staff.
Requirements
  • Experience in historical abuse cases preferred, although not essential.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with clients and other practitioners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
