Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metering Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified plumber to grow their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and replacing gas and hot water meters, including remote billing equipment. They will also identify and address non-compliant installations with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and replace gas and hot water meters, including remote billing equipment.
  • Identify and address non-compliant installations with care and attention to detail.
  • Provide field support for new connections and upgrades in a collaborative team setting.
  • Use digital tools to complete reports and manage jobs efficiently.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Plumbing (or higher).
  • Experience with gas or hot water metering - preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • C-Class Driver's Licence.
  • A collaborative mindset and a strong commitment to safety.
