Job Title: Senior Consultant

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality risk analytics and reporting services to clients across Australia's leading financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your understanding of requirements across various regulatory programs to interpret prudential and reporting requirements across the delivery life cycle.
  • Gain broad experience in risk analytics and reporting, including working with large datasets.
  • Support delivery across a range of regulatory transformation programs, leading projects to agreed standards and timescales.
  • Drawing insights and analytics from data to inform stakeholders about changes from regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement data management capabilities to support data risk management.
  • Lead/support the wider team with various business development initiatives to support the transformation of risk functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1+ years' relevant experience in Risk Analytics within Financial Services / FinTech / Consulting.
  • Team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills, client engagement and presentation.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining long-term client relationships and networks, in addition to cultivating business development opportunities.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities, track project timelines/budget and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds.
  • Experience with Australian and/or international prudential supervision, regulatory reporting, regulatory technology (RegTech), capital management, enterprise risk and risk data management.
  • Working knowledge of coding languages desirable (e.g. SAS, Python, SQL, VBA etc.).
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute towards our dynamic team.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
