Our Care Worker Role


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Devonport, TAS.


Your Responsibilities



  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and maintaining a safe and beautiful living environment for our customers
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities
  • Provide personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, as well as managing medications and assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Provide respite and emotional support
  • Accompany customers to appointments and provide social support
  • Offer complex care for customers with high care needs, including those with dementia

Requirements



  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle
  • A commitment to assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer
  • An ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work
