We are looking for a dedicated Care Worker to join our team in Devonport, TAS. As a Care Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older members of our community.

About the Role

This is a Part-Time position, working at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday. No night or weekend work is required.

Your Responsibilities

  • Clean homes to ensure they are safe and beautiful places for older people to live.
  • Assist customers with meal preparation and shopping.
  • Provide social support and access to lifestyle activities.
  • Offer personal care, including getting customers up, showered, and dressed for the day, managing medication, assisting with mobility, and therapy goals.
  • Provide respite and emotional support.
  • Transport customers to appointments.
  • Offer complex care for customers with high needs, such as dementia.

What We're Looking For

We need someone who cares about assisting our aged community so they can live independently at home for longer.

You must have a current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle – travel is part of the role.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations is essential.

You should be available to work at least 3 days a week, Monday to Friday.

As an independent worker, you'll find solutions to everyday problems and know when to ask for help.

Estimated Salary: AU$55,000 - AU$65,000 per year
