About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Shell Energy. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain information technology systems and infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and security of our systems.
  • Develop software solutions to ensure system security and compliance with Shell guidelines.
  • Contribute to the implementation of engineering solutions and provide documentation to guide development teams.
  • Work closely with development teams to enhance logging, monitoring, and observability.
Requirements
  • Experience in one or more programming languages, software design patterns, and development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Practical experience in configuring and maintaining hosted and cloud-native applications.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and methodical problem-solving skills.
