Lumus Imaging is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Melton/Werribee on a full-time basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including ultrasound, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound and other modalities to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images and efficient patient throughput.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
- Qualified Diagnostic Imaging Specialist with ASAR Accreditation.
- Competent in general ultrasound exams, obstetrics, and MSK imaging.
- Dual qualified Diagnostic Imaging Specialist/Radiographer candidates are welcome, and we can support their development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to prioritize a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
