Position Requirements:

  • Current FANZCA college report outcome assessment demonstrating expertise in anaesthesia.
  • AHPRA registration as a physician and specialist or eligibility to apply.

The department is situated in the Interventional Suite complex, comprising an Anaesthetic team, Departmental Secretary, and Acute Pain nurses. The Anaesthetic team collaborates with Registrars to provide services to both public and private patients, including anaesthetic delivery in the Interventional Suite and pre-admission clinic, an Acute Pain Service, Obstetric Anaesthesia, and off-site services to Medical Imaging, Intensive Care, and the Emergency Department.
