Job Summary

The role of Senior Interior Design Specialist is accountable for designing and executing projects in collaboration with our designers and external consultants. You will be responsible for delivering excellent quality work, working independently, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

About the Role

This is a full-time position offering an estimated salary of $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a Senior Interior Design Specialist, you will be required to travel to sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba, and NSW. You will also be responsible for managing supplier relationships, overseeing project logistics, and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions with a focus on innovation and user-centricity
  • Take ownership of assigned projects from inception to completion
  • Produce 2D sketch designs, 3D models, comprehensive construction documentation, and schedules
  • Furniture and artwork/decorative selections and coordination
  • Manage supplier relationships and oversee project logistics
  • Full FFE procurement, assisting and coordination of Furniture, Fixings, Equipment selections, and placement of orders
  • Accountability for projects assigned and ability to see them through to completion
  • Managing multiple projects at one time
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich, Toowoomba, and NSW

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a design studio environment
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong design skills, and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Building Code of Australia (BCA) and relevant Australian Standards
  • National Police Check clearance and current Australian Open Driver's License
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and trouble shoot
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks
