Job OpportunitySupply Chain Planning Specialist Role

At Xtrac, we are expanding our team to drive growth and success. We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our organization.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production of advanced transmission systems for motorsport and automotive products. This includes creating and maintaining a valid Production Schedule based on commercial demand, over the short term (0-4 months) along with planning for the long-term Production Schedule (5 – 24 months) to ensure sufficient resource capacity is available to meet the forecast requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the manufacture and delivery of advanced transmission systems
  • Create and maintain a valid Production Schedule
  • Manage job status during the planning phases and respond to changes in demand
  • Interface and build strong relationships with colleagues throughout the business

Requirements:

  • Understanding of fundamental ERP principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of common manufacturing techniques
  • Methodical approach with good attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Equivalent experience within engineering or at least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing planning environment
