**Job Title:** Timber Mill Operator

**Job Description:**

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Timber Mill Operators to join our production team. The successful candidate will be involved in end-to-end production, playing a key part in producing high-quality timber products.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in machine operating, labouring, manual handling, or in a production environment. They must also possess a positive attitude at work, being reliable and punctual. A strong commitment to safety is essential, as well as knowledge of the timber industry.

**Key Responsibilities:
  1. Play a key part in the production of high-quality timber products.
  2. Operate various fix plant machinery, including circular and band saws, automatic stacking equipment, gas fired kilns, moulders & robotic packaging lines.
  3. Assist with product grading, identifying defects, and accurately sawing and measuring.
  4. Moving, sorting, and strapping timber for shipping and delivery.
  5. General labouring and timber mill duties, ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris.
  6. Inventory management to ensure a smooth production line with no delays or issues.
  7. Maintain a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of the site.
**To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have:
  1. Previous experience in machine operating, labouring, manual handling, or in a production environment.
  2. A positive attitude at work, while being reliable and punctual.
  3. A strong commitment to safety.
  4. Knowledge of the timber industry.
  5. Be physically fit, with the ability to manually handle various sizes of timber products.
  6. The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
