Exciting Opportunities for Boilermaker/Welders
Our team is seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder to join us in Port Hedland, Western Australia. This role involves conducting boilermaking and welding duties on multiple projects around the Pilbara Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure
- Inspect and identify areas in need of repair or malfunctions/damage
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures, and project schedules
- Carry out fabrication, maintenance, and upgrades as required
- Completion of sign-off documentation as required
- Prepare/complete fabrications that comply with client specifications and drawings
- Participate in toolbox and safety meetings
- Contribute to activities of continuous improvement
- Adhere to safe work practices
About You:
- Experience in the mining industry
- Australian trade certificate
- Ability to complete various weld procedures and positions, including MMAW and FCAW
- Current MSIC or Job-ready MSIC preferred
- Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
- White card
- Proactive, teamwork skills, and high safety standards
