We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced boilermaker/welder to join our team. As a boilermaker/welder, you will be responsible for assembling and installing new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure.

You will also inspect and identify areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damage. Additionally, you will read and interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and installing new supports/structural members to existing infrastructure
  • Inspecting and identifying areas in need of repair, or any malfunctions/damage
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, welding procedures and project schedules
  • Carrying out fabrication, maintenance and upgrades as required
  • Completing sign off documentation as required
  • Preparing/completing fabrications that comply with the client's specification and drawings
  • Participating in toolbox and safety meetings
  • Contributing to activities of continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in the mining industry
  • Australian trade certificate
  • Ability to complete various weld procedures and positions, including MMAW and FCAW
  • Current MSIC or job-ready MSIC preferred
  • Police check (or ability to obtain one)
  • White card
