Field Service Professional

This role is part of our Service Operations Support team and involves providing hands-on mechanical service work to clients. You will act as a technical liaison between clients, product divisions, and sales teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing and coordinating service activities related to machines, spares, and wears. This includes:

  • Completing field machine inspections
  • Providing hands-on mechanical service work in the field to customers
  • Providing technical liaison services between customers, product divisions, and sales personnel
  • Performing technical evaluations and analyzing equipment and machine component failures
  • Understanding drawings and schematics to ensure correct processes are followed
  • Supervising and overseeing Field Service projects on customer sites
  • Escalating questions and analysis to Technical Support and Engineering
  • Supporting quotation work by providing scope of work, initial planning, and costing information
  • Promoting products and services to customers
  • Preparing post-site reports, timesheets, and expenses after site visits

This role may involve interstate and international travel, and some physical work requirements.
