Senior VET Educator for Aged Care and Disability

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior VET Educator to join our team at RMIT University. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a hybrid role, combining on-campus teaching with travel throughout Victoria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver teaching programs, including training packages, in a professional and effective manner.
- Audit and assess student learning, maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment.
- Identify students at risk and develop strategies to improve their learning outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of school strategic plans and participate in relevant professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proven skills and experience in competency-based assessment.
- Able to ensure current and contemporary vocational competence meets or exceeds the education level being delivered and assessed.
- Substantial discipline knowledge and experience in the aged care and disability sectors.
- Ability to diagnose learning problems and propose effective solutions.
- Capacity to contribute effectively as a constructive and proactive team member.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. As a senior educator, you will be entitled to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a comprehensive remuneration package.
