We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Administration Officer to take on key responsibilities in our finance department.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records for accounts payable, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and account balancing processes.
  • Prepare and submit BAS, PAYG, and superannuation reports in a timely manner.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required, maintaining excellent communication skills.
  • Perform various administrative duties, providing clerical support to the team.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, with a strong understanding of accounting procedures.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with proven quality and accuracy of work.
  • Experience using Xero software, with intermediate-level proficiency.
  • Strong reconciliation skills, with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Intermediate level of Word and Excel, with ability to create professional documents and spreadsheets.
