IT Technician - AV Installation and Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled IT and Audio Visual technician to join our team.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our depot in St Leonards.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Sound technical knowledge of PC and Apple hardware and Microsoft software, as well as Audio Visual technology
  • Skilled in TCP/IP networking, wireless, and other technologies
  • Skilled in wireless mic setups, video walls, and other audio and visual technologies
  • Good communication and customer facing skills, with proficiency in English
  • Hands-on approach to work and physical fitness

Responsibilities

  • Relevant administrative requirements relating to the delivery/install function and asset control
  • Configuring and re-imaging IT equipment, cleaning and prepping AV gear and cabling
  • Deliveries, collections, and installation/networking of desktops, servers, workstations, notebooks, printers, copiers, as well as panels, projectors, video walls, wireless mics, and PA systems
  • PC maintenance/servicing, including mounting panels to exhibition stand walls and on floor stands, upgrading and configuring computers, installing software, attending to telephone and onsite technical issues, undertaking re-imaging of computers, checking-in and servicing returned computers and AV equipment per company procedures
