Job Title: Specialist, Pensions

The role of Pension Specialist requires expertise in administration and customer service support for internal and external stakeholders.

This position contributes to achieving team objectives and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.

A focus on delivering premium customer service through timely and accurate quality review of work items is essential.

Responsibilities include providing processing assistance to operational areas as needed.

  • Strategic Focus
    • Provide exceptional service to funds, members, and other stakeholders meeting service and quality standards.
    • Complete assigned administration tasks within agreed service standards and quality measures, including processing, authorizing, and follow-ups.
    • Action formal complaint requests for information within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Operational Management
    • Resolve complex queries beyond team members' skills, knowledge, or authority, ensuring procedures are compliant and followed correctly.
    • Allocate work to ensure effective team operation.
    • Identify and communicate issues arising from current systems and processes.
  • People Leadership
    • Provide technical and fund knowledge to the team to ensure goals are achieved and service standard requirements met.
    • Maintain a positive and open relationship with staff, seniors, and peers.

  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Extensive Superannuation, Income Stream, and Unit Trust knowledge, including legislative and operating requirements.
