Role Overview

Reporting directly to the General Manager of Commercial, your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Executing thorough market research to uncover trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics within the Marine Solutions domain.
  • Creating and sustaining financial models that aid in business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Evaluating commercial performance indicators and delivering insights to boost profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-departmental teams to formulate bids, proposals, and engage in contract negotiations.
  • Tracking and presenting key performance metrics (KPIs) to upper management.
  • Assisting in the formulation of pricing strategies and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Commercial Analyst, ideally within the Marine, Oil & Gas, Resources, Defence, or Services sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with expertise in financial modeling and data interpretation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and capacity to perform under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
