Senior Financial Professional

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team as a Senior Financial Professional. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clear and concise work papers as evidence of work performed;
  • Analyse the business environment to determine client positioning in the industry;
  • Support the growth and development of junior colleagues through mentoring and guidance;
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with current reporting standards;
  • Coordinate documents for client meetings with Partners;
  • Identify, research and resolve complex accounting issues;
  • Analyse and present management accounting reports;
  • Provide expert advice on tax matters including GST, capital gains tax and fringe benefits tax;
  • Offer general business advisory support to diverse client groups

You are an experienced professional with a passion for delivering high-quality financial services. You thrive in a collaborative environment but are also capable of working independently to meet deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Proficient in relevant software applications;
  • Degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA)
