Key Role Overview
A Maintenance Supervisor is required to lead a high-performing maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance for draglines and shovels to ensure maximum equipment availability.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
- Analyse breakdown trends and implement preventative solutions.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and planning teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Expectations:
- Electrical Trade Qualification with relevant post-trade experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Solid technical understanding of dragline and shovel electrical systems.
- Problem-solving and fault-finding expertise in high-voltage mining equipment.
- Queensland Electrical Licence (or ability to obtain).
- Previous experience supervising maintenance teams in a mining environment (preferably dragline and shovel).
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and build high-performing teams.
