The Clinical Nurse Specialist is a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care within the trauma/acute surgical unit.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver quality patient care within their area of specialty, contributing to and overseeing its implementation.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes through standards of practice, clinical research, and quality improvement activities.
- Provide consultation services and support the clinical review of patients.
In the initial 12 months, this position will focus on service development, including reviewing current trauma care, coordinating care for trauma inpatients, and improving data collection.
Requirements- Experience and training in trauma nursing are essential.
