We are seeking caring and supportive individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of elderly people. As a Trainee, you will work and study for 12-15 months to gain a qualification that will give you a strong foundation in individual support.

You will assist residents in a Residential Aged Care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities, under the supervision of a Workplace Buddy/Mentor. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge, and to work in a team that values care and compassion.

The aim of these positions is to move to ongoing employment after completing your training. Our organisation has a great reputation for providing high-quality care and services, and we offer a range of benefits to our employees, including:

  • Personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) and assistance with daily tasks
  • Feeding and meal preparation
  • Social/activities and ability to listen and build relationships

Requirements for this role include:

  • Great attitude and reliability
  • Willingsness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Valid working rights in Australia and residence in Australia
  • Permanent Resident or Citizen status for State Funding

Work hours and shifts will be agreed upon during recruitment, and you will have access to full support from our Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, and Registered Training Organisation throughout your traineeship.
