Job Overview

The Product Life Testing role is a key position that requires an experienced technician to maintain and set up life tests for various products as per test requirements provided by quality engineers.

About the Position

This quality assurance professional will be responsible for managing life test room equipment, programming PLCs to execute test cycles, and ensuring ancillary equipment and fixtures are properly managed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance of Life test room equipment and related tools.
  • Programming of PLCs to execute test cycles with precision.
  • Management of ancillary equipment, fixture required for Life Testing tasks.
  • Resource allocation and space management within the life test room.
  • Monitoring and communication of life test progress to quality engineers.
  • Reporting of life test results and issues to quality engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Trade background with electrical and mechanical knowledge essential.
  • PLC programming experience (FESTO).
  • Experience in using a variety of tools and ability to build simple jigs and fixtures.
  • Task prioritization skills.
  • Information compilation and presentation skills - MS Office.
  • Effective and accurate communication with colleagues and suppliers.
