Your main duties in this role, will be to support the Service Manager in the day to day running of the service department.

Duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients, customers and visitors
  • Answering all incoming calls and directing appropriately
  • Taking enquires and service bookings
  • Keeping customers up to date with vehicle progress
  • Estimating the cost and time needed to complete a job
  • Liaising with the Workshop Manager to ensure all work is carried out in the allocated time frame
  • Gaining authorisation for extra work
  • Helping bring new business into the service department
  • Promoting the company and the automotive brand

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Must have high attention to detail
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is essential
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Exceptional customer service with a pleasant & professional phone manner
  • Sound knowledge of automotive mechanics
  • Customer service focused
