Casual Visitor Engagement Officer Role

We are seeking confident public speakers who are knowledgeable and passionate about South Australia's social history to join our team as Casual Visitor Engagement Officers.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have excellent customer service skills and a desire to work in a museum environment. As a Visitor Engagement Officer, you will be an ambassador for our museums, responsible for delivering engaging visitor experiences and ensuring the effective day-to-day operations and functions in our museums.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver core visitor experiences at our museums, including guided tours and education programs.
  • Assist with administrative needs of the museum.
  • Assist in evaluation, implementation, and design of education and public programs.
  • Develop and promote social media content.
  • Operate retail outlets.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the museum.
  • Undertake curatorial cleaning and minor maintenance of displays and equipment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
