Financial Operations Specialist

The role of a Cash Control professional is a critical component of an organization’s financial operations. As part of a 6-month contract, with potential for extension or permanency, this specialist will work closely to ensure timely and accurate collection of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:- Process daily payment allocations, identifying reasons for short/missed payments and resolving them promptly.
- Manage new account applications, including credit checks and risk assessments.
- Regularly review held orders to release within agreed time frames.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, including credit limits, changes to customer details, payment arrangements, and other relevant information.
- Ensure timely distribution of account statements at month-end.
- Evaluate debt recovery options and escalate to external collections agencies when necessary.
- Conduct monthly reviews of aged debtors lists.
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Manager.
- Utilize expertise in credit control processes, cash management, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel and SAP is advantageous.
