Main Duties- Proactively manage the manufacturing area team in the efficient execution of the Manufacturing Schedule and department plans.
- Proactively identify and escalate issues and constraints and implement optimal solutions.
- Manage improvement projects to meet agreed objectives and outcomes.
- Manage resources efficiently and cost-effectively to meet manufacturing plans and targets.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality, to maximize throughput.
- Develop and maintain a competent, motivated, and engaged team through effective communications, management, recruitment, training, and development.
- Ensure all compliance records (incidents, investigations, CAPAs, change controls, etc.) are completed on time and in an effective manner.
- Lead cGMP compliance by following company policies and procedures.
- Complete GMP documentation to cGMP standards.
- Report any deviations in processing or procedures in line with SOP requirements.
- Drive Operational Excellence through the manufacturing area team by supporting OE processes and team involvement.
- Participate in OE workshops and training.
- Lead the implementation of CI opportunities throughout Production.
- Participate in the development of a safe and healthy workplace by complying and promoting provided instructions and processes, taking reasonable care to ensure your own safety and health and that of others, and to report any injury, hazard, or illness immediately.
- Ensure direct reports are equipped with the information, instruction, training, supervision, and equipment that they need to work safely and that they abide by all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviors.
- Demonstrate effective people management, including comprehensive performance planning, review, and absence management.
At least 5 years of previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Previous GMP experience.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
