About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our Hype DC Buying team at Accent Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal teams and suppliers to achieve business targets and company vision.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with Buying Managers and Planners to develop full year financial and strategic plans.
  • Conducting regular trend research and monitoring brand health to ensure relevance for the consumer.
  • Developing seasonal product plans, training and visual merchandising directives to deliver to the retail team.
  • Ensuring assortment depth and size curves are relevant and in line with sales trends.
  • Analysis of category performance, macro market trends, competitor insights, customer feedback and trends to build a deep understanding of the customer and the business.
  • Ensuring all business activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Demonstrated previous experience in a retail buying role ideally with retail apparel or footwear.
  • A passion for driving sales and achieving profit margins.
  • The ability to manage and maintain multiple supplier relationships.
  • Proficient in Excel – analysing data and managing reports.
