Job Summary

This is a permanent role in Emu Plains for a professional with experience in manufacturing to lead continuous improvements across all production departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing, implementing and monitoring safety programs including training programs
  • Undertake investigations of all accidents and incidents, recommend or coordinate corrective actions
  • Maintaining thorough knowledge of Federal and State WHS regulations, advising and updating company information as required
  • Maintenance of ISO 9001 accreditation
  • Managing quarterly training program for all employees
  • Conducting safety meetings with relevant staff to cover various safety exposures and documenting accordingly
  • Establishing and enforcing safe working practices for all employees
  • Identifying and recommending improvements to the Quality system including improved productivity, quality and cost reduction
About You
  • Must have manufacturing exposure in a similar role for at least 1 year
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 would be highly regarded
  • Must have experience with writing documents such as SOPs
  • Hands-on working with the team
  • Passionate about driving a safety culture
