In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement planning policies and strategies that support sustainable development;
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and address planning issues and opportunities;
  • Contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives that enhance community services and amenities;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on planning matters.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Town Planning or equivalent;
  • Experience in interpreting mapping and architectural plans;
  • Experience in researching and investigating legislation and policy in relation to planning matters;
  • Knowledge of statutory town planning schemes legislation and other supporting legislation.
