We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive payroll professional to join our team in delivering accurate and timely payroll services.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for someone who thrives on precision, enjoys problem-solving, and values continuous improvement in key areas of payroll and HR.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll with accuracy and within agreed timeframes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Perform payroll checks, maintain personnel records, and provide scheduled and ad-hoc reporting.
- Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers with clarity and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with industrial instruments and internal policies, identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of payroll processes and assist in managing the HR mailbox.
- Provide administrative support across HR functions, contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct research into HR matters and assist with HR projects, leveraging organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRMIS) for payroll processing, including interpretation and application of relevant legislation, awards, agreements, and policies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
