Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tree Worker to join our team.

As a Tree Worker, you will be responsible for operating Chipper trucks and units to keep worksites clear and safe. You will also rotate through tasks such as chipping vegetation, safety spotting, setting up safe work zones, cleaning up sites, and ground cutting with a chainsaw.

You will operate an Elevated Work Platform safely and effectively, using handheld tools for tree trimming and dismantling. Additionally, you will conduct risk assessments, perform maintenance checks, and operate the Elevated Work Platform.

As a Climbing Arborist, you will ensure safe trimming or dismantling of trees through climbing techniques and safe work practices. You will also perform safe climbing techniques, clear vegetation around powerlines, conduct risk assessments, and operate plant and chainsaw equipment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A current drivers' licence (truck licence desirable)
  • The ability to work safely
  • Flexibility to live away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time
