Our Perth-based design team is seeking a skilled geotechnical engineer to join our consultancy services. You will work on projects ranging from urban developments to remote tailings storage facilities. We welcome candidates with 3-12 years of experience.
Job Description
- Develop and provide design solutions to meet client needs, working closely with the technical team
- Contribute to detailed designs for projects, including building foundations, temporary works, infrastructure, and tailings storage facilities, under the guidance of the senior technical team
- Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of work, undertaking technical and non-technical tasks as required
- Ensure project completion within the agreed timeframe, budget, and quality standards
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients and collaborate with the client relations/business development team to target new opportunities
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent analytical skills and prior knowledge of geotechnical design software (Plaxis, Rocscience Slide, RSPile, Settle3, LimitState Geo)
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills, both verbally and written
- Qualified Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience in a geotechnical consulting environment
- Experience working on tailings storage facilities is preferred but not necessary
- Proven track record of design delivery for complex projects
- Aus drivers license and ability to travel

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
