We are seeking to fill a permanent full-time Child Care Aide position that involves working 5-days per week with a split-shift in the AM and PM.

This is an ideal opportunity for applicants who are interested in a flexible work day and may be studying a higher qualification.

Kids' Early Learning is a leading childcare business that provides care and learning needs for children of over 1700 families throughout the Blacktown local government area.

The service aims to provide high-quality care and education for children within its services, support the implementation of educational programs that promote child development, maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, and develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and carers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To provide high-quality care and education for children;
  • To support the implementation of educational programs that promote child development;
  • To maintain a safe and healthy environment for children;
  • To develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and carers.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Diploma in Community Services (Children's Services) or equivalent;
  • Completion of Child Protection Course - Identify and respond to children and young people at risk of harm;
  • Current certificate HLTAID011 Provide First Aid;
  • Current certificate HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR);
  • Working with Children Check clearance valid for paid work.

Other requirements include:

  • A minimum of 12 months relevant work experience;
