About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team of skilled tradesmen and women. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct installations, repairs, maintenance, testing, modification, commissioning and fault find on electrical plant, equipment, materials associated with electrical systems.
  • MP2 and Works Management
  • Concise communication between customers and colleagues to ensure the best outcome
  • Maintain a high level of service that meets customers expectations
  • Adhere to safety processes and procedures and reports when things are 'not right'.
  • Openly communicates ways of improving safety
  • Quality Assurance
  • Adherence to all Quality & Environment policies and procedures.
  • Applies specialist and detailed technical expertise; uses technology to achieve work objectives.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as an electrician
  • Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
  • Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
  • Understanding manufacturing and Automation.
  • Being familiar with Servo motors and drives.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting with PLC
  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

  • Electrical licence
  • Drivers Licence
  • White Card
  • First Aid
